Pizza Hut and Domino's both expect to sell millions of pies around the highly-coveted Feb. 2 game, which airs on Fox.
Pizza Hut anticipates selling more than 1.5 million pizzas this year. Rival Domino's typically sells nearly 2 million pizzas on Super Bowl Sunday, an increase of about 40 percent from a typical Sunday, according to its website.
According to market research firm YouGov, 37 percent of Super Bowl viewers were estimated to eat pizza during last year's Super Bowl.
"Regardless of where our fans are experiencing Super Bowl LIV, we have our teams preparing nationwide to make sure the biggest day in football goes off without a hitch," said Nicolas Burquier, chief customer and operations officer at Pizza Hut.

Little Caesars declined to say how many pizzas it expects to sell, but spokesperson Tina Orozco told FOX Business it is easily the busiest Sunday of the year.
"Logistically, we prepare by ordering in advance significantly more ingredients, boxes, etc than a typical week," Orozco said. "We then build a schedule to meet the higher demand the game brings."
Until a few weeks ago, Little Caesars was a carry-out only pizza chain. With the recent rollout of delivery nationwide via the company's app or website, they "expect to be busier than ever" Orozco said.
