A Domino's pizza delivery driver was robbed and carjacked Saturday night in Jackson.
Glenn Miller, of RPM Pizza, owns 180 Domino's franchise locations throughout the South and Midwest. He confirmed Sunday that one of his drivers was robbed of his phone and his car while delivering pizza to an apartment complex.
The make and model of the vehicle was not immediately available. A spokesperson for the Jackson Police Department could not immediately be reached for comment Sunday.
During the robbery, the driver was "punched in the face," Miller said. Miller declined to name the apartment complex where the incident occurred, citing an ongoing police investigation.

Miller said there are parts of Jackson that he and his employees have deemed too dangerous to deliver to after dark. But the policy isn't new — it's one that's been in place since 1981. It's also a policy in place in other cities, he said.
Shortly after the incident, the driver entered a Jackson restaurant to use their phone and report the crime. A video of the driver inside the restaurant, recalling what happened to him, was posted on social media.
As of Sunday morning, Miler said the driver is "in good spirits, given the situation."
Miller is offering a $4,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
Sgt. Roderick Holmes with the Jackson Police Department said earlier this week that, to date, there have been "less than 10" robberies of delivery drivers in 2019. That number did not include the incident Saturday night.
In 2003, a 25-year-old pizza deliveryman was killed in Jackson while delivering to Westwick Apartments.
